   I picked up this smart keyless entry door lock to modernize my front door, and it’s been a solid upgrade from a traditional deadbolt. From the first use, it feels like a well-thought-out piece of tech that balances convenience with everyday practicality.The app control works smoothly and makes managing access surprisingly easy. Being able to lock or unlock the door remotely, check activity, and add or remove users without dealing with physical keys is a huge quality-of-life improvement. The high user capacity is especially useful if you have family members, guests, or service access to manage.The touchscreen keypad is responsive and easy to read, even in lower light. Entering a code feels quick and intuitive, and the voice prompts provide helpful feedback without being intrusive. I also like having the built-in doorbell, which adds an extra layer of usefulness without needing another device on the door.Auto-lock is one of those features you don’t realize you need until you have it. Knowing the door will lock itself after a set time adds peace of mind, especially during busy days when it’s easy to forget.    Good multifunction smart deadbolt for fair price
   This is a pretty solid deadbolt for the price point. Build quality is probably a little lighter than the big name brand ones you can find locally, but it’s good enough for my purpose.It’s a little slow to open and close after entering the code on the keypad, but the touch detection and sensitivity is pretty good. It does look pretty nice too from the outside especially.The included key worked fine and it appears it would be the easy to rekey if that’s important to you.Installation was straightforward with one exception: had to manually file down the included plate so it would fit my door that’s setup with rounded corners on the mortise for the deadbolt itself. Took a good 10 minutes or so or hassling around. Schlage ones I’ve bought in the past have always included one of each. But I made do.Oh also peeling the protective film off of the two plates that are around the bolt was really annoying. Seems like the adhesive was way too aggressive. Took a long time to remove and had to use googone or something similar to clean up the residue.Also, it seems like it requires at least 6 digits for the code (allows up to 8 I think). It’s great to allow more but I’d like the option of just 4 as so many others do.I have the backup option of the app too (easy to setup through the Tuya app), but intend to normally use the keypad.Also, it appears to me that you don’t have to use the app and can just set codes directly on the keypad which is nice.

   Exactly what I needed!
   Works well, took a little bit to installI picked this up mainly because my kids kept forgetting their keys, and leaving a spare hidden under the mat is terrifying. The installation was mostly straightforward, though I had to wiggle the bolt a bit to get it to sit flush with my specific door frame, but nothing crazy. Once it was up, setting up the app was easier than I expected. I really like that I can check the log to see when the door was opened; it gives me peace of mind knowing exactly when everyone gets home from school.The keypad itself looks nice and modern. You do have to tap the screen to wake it up before punching in your code, which took a few days to get used to, but it works consistently now. The little built-in doorbell is actually a surprisingly useful feature since we didn’t have a wired one at that door before. For the money, it feels solid. It’s definitely a cheaper alternative to the big name brands at the hardware store, but honestly, it does everything I need it to do without the huge price tag.

It feels solid and well made, and I appreciate that it’s IP55 waterproof for outdoor use.I docked one star mainly because the app can feel a little clunky at times, but overall it functions as expected and does what it promises. A good option if you want a modern, feature-packed smart lock without a complicated setup.
