   Handy plugs, work perfectly
   Best little devices and don’t know how I lived without them! I had no idea such a thing existed but a quick Amazon search and there they were. I’m an electricity miser and these help with vampire electricity usage which is wasteful.

   Good, simple switch for device control
   Simple switch device with many applications. I like the red indicator light that shows on or off at a glance. I have a USB charging block with eight ports but no on/off switch. These little switches allow me to shut off all things connected.

   Very convenient
   We use these for our holiday lighting, but I imagine there are many other uses. They work fine and the price is right.

   Allows for labeling, saves time tracing power cords and unplugging / plugging in components
   They do what they say. Great for organizing a bunch of plugged in items in a server room. Red light proves power is on at a glance when debugging a problem. No reaching behind components fumbling for the power switch. Label what is what on the white switch body or Tape on the body, and then can power cycle a specific component (cable modem, router…) without having to follow the cord to be sure you have the correct one. I’d recommend against using them with something that an unexpected accidental shutdown would result in significant data loss. But great for cable modems, routers, firewalls and all the smaller items in a server room.

   Great solution vs using a power strip
   These adapters have a nice compact design and I greatly appreciate the illuminated switch. Makes it easy to notice when I’ve left something powered on before going to bed at night.The 15 amp rating will handle all the common wall outlet devices you may have. It’s worked well with my induction hotplate that draws around 13 amps as well as my 1500 watt microwave.One negative I have found is that the words “on” and “off” are upside down with the outlet adapter installed in a wall outlet with switch on right side. If your outlets have the ground pin “down” this will be what you see. If your outlet has the ground pin “up” then the words are right side up; but the “on” position of the switch is down rather than up as would be with standard wall switches. Most folks won’t care about this; but I find it interesting this adapter passed the various certifications with this mistake.One of the adapters I received in the four pack had a bit of plastic “flashing” blocking one of the flat plug openings; it wouldn’t let me plug in a power cord. A few minutes with a small screwdriver and I was able to dig out the flashing so I didn’t need to toss that one away or bother with returning the set. Overall I’m very pleased with these adapters.Update 12/18/25One of my original four adapters (have 12 now) failed. The switch broke internally and would not turn on. I disassembled to see about just replacing the switch; but once I identified a replacement switch, the cost was almost as high as the cost of one adapter. So chucked the failed adapter and bought 4 more. Still very happy with these adapters and several are used at lease twice a day.

   Very Convenient Outlet Control
   I have ordered the ANKO outlet adapter with on/off switch in the past to use with plug-in appliances that have no actual on/off switch that shuts off the red LED appliance indicators (InstaPot, dehydrator, etc) without unplugging the appliance. These switch adapter work great! I ordered this set to use one with a set of plug-in undercabinet lights to turn them all on at once, and another to use with a dog bed heater. The red indicator light is a great feature also!

   Super convenient – ideas for use
   I love these. I even give them as gifts and people love them when I tell them ways to use them. I attach to Alexa so I can switch her on and off so she isn’t listening all the time, lol and to cut the wifi stream when I don’t need it. I also attach to the iron plug so I don’t have to pull the plug in and out of the wall. It makes it so easy to flip the switch like a light. I also attach to the TV in the bedroom to cut the EMFs in the night from the wifi. It would be great to be able to do that with the router and WIFi, when you go to bed but in our house, it’s used through the night due to different schedules. Cut the EMFs and have better sleep. Cell phone away from bedroom or off, of course…
