Decent, low-oil serum
I have been using this detox cleanser along with the shampoo and serum for review. I was not sent the conditioner, unfortunately and have been using my regular conditioner instead. Thus far I’m not impressed by the performance of this line. Using these three products have left my thick, long, wavy hair in a lackluster state. I expected more from this product since it was a Neutrogena product.I always apply this to my hair when damp. I appreciate that it’s not overly oily and, even after not washing my hair for a few days, I don’t feel like it’s weighed down with oil just because I chose to use a serum. I haven’t seen much of a difference in the strength of my hair, but I have had less dandruff, so we’ll call that a positive! The directions for the product are somewhat confusing. It says to divide your hair into four sections and apply a drop in each section. However, it does not specify what exactly a section is or how to lay it all out on your head when doing so. Perhaps a simple diagram would help with this for your general, non-fancy-person who wants to use this serum.

Not greasy feeling!
I like this scalp oil! I’m using it to try and help with postpartum hair loss and dryness of the scalp. The oil goes on very light and smooth and doesn’t feel gross and greasy. I’ve been putting it on at night before bed, probably 10-12 drops across my head and massaging it in thoroughly, and then sleeping with it and washing it out in the morning. I’ve also used it as spot treatment when I have a dry itchy area on my scalp as it doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy. I really like this oil and plan to keep using it to see if my hair starts growing back better!
