Scan Reader Pen
A brief setup tutorial prompted me to connect to the Wi-Fi network, pick the language I wanted to use, and do a quick calibration swipe as soon as the 3.5-inch touchscreen illuminated. Scan, Translate, Record, and Settings are the symbols associated with the menu, and they have the same intuitive feel as app tiles on a smartphone. The on-board optical character recognition (OCR) system retrieved the paragraph, reproduced it in crisp digital type, and then presented the English version on a split pane. I was able to scan the French introduction of a marketing case study in less than 10 minutes. Proof that the pen takes into account sophisticated typography rather than flattening characters into guesswork was found when finger-scrolling back through recorded parts showed faultless diacritics. In order to record the most important formulas that were shown on the screen during the two-hour economics session that I attended, I used the text-extract mode. I was able to export all of my notes to my laptop in a single RTF file by using the “share” button after a gradual glide over each equation. This automatically saved the equations to my internal memory. My notepad stayed clean and uncluttered despite the fact that my classmates were scribbling quickly. The speed of the speaker never slowed down. To my surprise, when I was looking for certain variables before a quiz that evening, every recorded line was searchable. This was a bonus that I had not anticipated.

Helpful for a visiting family member learning English
My wife’s nephew is staying with us over the summer, and this has been a useful tool while he adjusts to using English day to day. We’ve been using it together to scan books and packaging, and it reads the text aloud clearly, which helps him connect the written words with pronunciation. The voice translation feature has also come in handy when he wants to ask something and isn’t sure how to phrase it. The touchscreen is easy to work with, and the way it shows word meanings right on the screen has helped him pick things up faster. It works best in good lighting and with printed text, but once he got the hang of it, it’s been something he reaches for often. It’s made communication a bit smoother around the house

A Pocket Translator That Actually Keeps Up
I picked this up ahead of a family Italian trip, hoping it would help with menus, signs, and the occasional awkward conversation. And this pen has done that and more. The scanning function is fast and surprisingly accurate, even on curved surfaces like product labels or paperback books. I’ve used it to translate everything from museum placards to grocery packaging, and the voice playback is clear enough to repeat confidently when needed. The photo translation is a nice bonus when scanning full paragraphs, and the built-in dictionaries make it feel like a modern take on the old-school phrasebook.Back at home, I’ve started using it to help my kids with language homework and even to record quick notes during meetings. The touch screen is responsive, and the interface is intuitive to use. It’s compact, holds a charge well, and fits easily in a jacket pocket or bag. No matter I’m traveling or just trying to stay organized, it’s become a surprisingly useful tool to have around.

This pen is great to use and versatile
When I ordered it, I thought it might be helpful, but its effect was much better than I expected. It takes a bit of skill to get perfect readings, but after a few attempts, it works very well. Once you master the technique, its accuracy is astonishing. This small translation pen is very helpful for my reading, note-taking and translating foreign works. The Bluetooth wireless connection is a huge advantage. It has a good scanning effect, clear pronunciation, and can translate instantly. It has a decent-sized touchscreen that allows you to browse settings. Its size is also very compact, making it convenient to carry, and I can easily throw it into my bag without taking up any space.
