   Nice Door handle overall
   This was overall easy to install. We occasionally have trouble with the kids fingerprints getting accepted. And the app kicked me out and the login did not save. So having to restart that process. But overall, we have liked the door handle and the quality is there.

   I’m sure it works well if you can get it installed
   I’m really sad about this. I decided to splurge because our last knock off phillips just kept failing and we’d get locked out of our house 90% of the time. When I finally decided to order the “nice one” it’s because after 2 months with the old one, the door literally stopped opening at all.So this one comes in, and we can’t even get it installed. The hardware provided did not fit the lock. As if they switched the hardware bag with another “like” bag. There’s no way to screw up which ones are the mounting screws in the bag- they are significantly larger than the rest. The mounting screws provided damaged the threads on the actual lock immediately. We were unable to even use the lock and had to return it.

   Updated: It does work with Alexa
   Update:The company reached out and sent the model that works with Alexa. A quick swap of the deadbolt and it functions well and was easy to set up since I already had the app and account.Point revised above = This model does NOT work with Alexa as advertised.There is only an unlock symbol on the door, not a locked symbol. So the kids spin it no matter what.Install was simple enough and seems to be good quality.

   Great Lock
   As a DIYer this lock gets 5 stars !! after reading many reviews on other locks I choose this one for the look, value and reviews. The install manual is easy to follow and gives you two options for programming after the hardware installation is complete that took 20 min because I replaced an old lock and 10 minutes using the App for programming two users and a guest code I highly recommend this lock *****

   No need to let the install job scare you. Pretty cool product.
   I just installed the item. This review is therefore somewhat preliminary. Verdict: Impressive product. The installation was a bit cumbersome but I doubt other products are (a lot) easier to install. You need philips (of course…) screwdrivers and possibly a drill with its set of bits. It’s not super complicated but do reserve a couple of hours total. When ready to go first take a quick look at the video (scan the link on the QuickStart leaflet) but then just follow the booklet’s more complete step by step instructions. I had to increase the depth of the cut-out for the dead bolt in the door frame (bolt sticks out quite a bit, probably 3/4 inch, a bit more than my old bolt). I also had to drill a new hole through the door itself for the handle’s bottom screw (if you need to do that too be accurate where to drill so the internal and external parts align) and fill/finish up cosmetically. When setting up the phone app, make sure to first change the master code on the numeric device and also make sure to use all fresh batteries! (don’t mix 2 new AA-ones with a couple of 3/4 full ones; purchase is separate).
