And last but not least, the weekend is for you to relax and prep for the following week. In these 12 months, you will notice your consistent growth, you may skip a day, or even an entire week due to homework or studying for a test. Just start back up where you left off. In 1 month you will notice that you are handling stress much better, relationships are improving, you are excited about the future, and you are becoming a better you! Personal connection, confidence through God
This devotional is perfect for teenage boys who want to strengthen or perhaps form their relationship with God in a personal way. Through this, God and His love are far more approachable and relatable to the everyday teen life which really enforces how boundless His love truly is. I love the prayer affirmations at the end of each month and how very real world, present issues are tackled with God in mind, such as social media and our constant need for status which opens us up to comparison. What I love most about this book though is how it approaches these subjects without sounding judgy or preachy – Bennett does not talk down to the reader like a child, but he also does not give these concepts up like a thesis paper. It wonderfully ties in God to relatable, “loud” issues in everyday life while truly focusing on the sense of self love we all deserve, especially teenage boys trying to find themselves in an ever approaching adult world.

Love this!
We aren’t a go-to-church-every-Sunday kind of family. In fact, outside of a wedding I’m not sure my pre teen son has ever been to a church service. But we are Christians and believe in Christian values. I’m hoping my son will flourish during his teen years instead of wandering and feeling so confused as I see many teens do. Will he read this book? Maybe not. But I will. And I’ll encourage him to. This can maybe guide me to guide him if he won’t read it himself. I like how it’s designed in sections for personal understanding and growth and uses a sports undertone throughout. Well written.

A Great Resource for a House Full of Teen Boys
With two stepsons and my own son all in their teen years, finding something that speaks to each of them hasn’t been easy. This devotional has been a surprisingly helpful tool in our home. The structure is simple, the tone feels relatable, and the messages address situations that teen boys actually face without being overwhelming. What I appreciate most is how it supports both the boys and the adults guiding them. Even on days when they’re not eager to sit and read, it gives me a clear framework for starting meaningful conversations and reinforcing positive values. It’s encouraging, grounded in faith, and practical enough to fit into real life. For families raising teenage boys—especially blended families—this has been a valuable addition.

Relatable for teens boys
This is a pretty cool devotional book for teenage boys. I love how it breaks it down into quarters and then further break down each month. It hits some really good topics in an easy to read way. Nothing with huge words nobody understands and is relatable to a teen boy. I like how they have a reflection question and self reflection question. Makes what you read stick a little better and guides you to think about what you read. Overall a really good book

Covers Real Teen Issues
I gave this to my nephew as a gift, hoping it would encourage him—but I didn’t expect it to actually stick. The 10-minute format makes it easy for him to engage without feeling preached at, and the topics hit real issues teens face today—peer pressure, dating, anxiety, and purpose—through clear, biblical truth. What impressed me most is how practical and relatable it is. It’s not just building his faith; it’s opening up meaningful conversations and strengthening our relationship too. This isn’t another devotional that collects dust—it’s one that truly helps shape young men of God.
