   Products provide natural, radiant look…
   Really like the sheer and smooth quality of these products, they look natural and radiant on the skin without looking too made up. I do not care for the mascara because I was left with dry flakes within a few hours; I’m not sure if that’s typical of Iconic mascara as I’m a first time customer. I did really like the wand though and so perhaps with a better formulation it might work. The packaging on all products is lovely and the vivid peach makeup bag is really nice. All in all, this would make a nice gift.

   Adorable Sets With Some Winners!
   I got two of these sets; one for me, and the larger of the two for my sister in law.I’ve tried all of my sets items, so I’ll post that below. The only two items not mentioned in this review will be the eyeshadow set & the lip gloss (since those are in her set). If this lets me update my review after I’ve gifted it to her, I’ll review those as well.For the larger set, it’s in a quite useful large sized case with a see through window. This would be a great traveling case, or for keeping things orderly in a vehicle; all sorts of uses!My set came with a smaller makeup bag. The color is beautiful, but I’m not a huge fan of these styles so I’ll probably use it for storing something else.I knew that a few of these items give a glowy look, and as a person with oily skin, I was unsure about that. I am usually trying to matify my face, not add shine.The blurring primer I feel actually does a great job of minimizing my pores and making my skin smooth. I was initially horified by how shiny it made me skin, but after applying powder foundation, my skin looks youthful and not greasy. That shine does come through, but it’s a very natural looking glow (the name is very apt).The sheer blush went on smoothly and didn’t seem to agitate my powder foundation. The color is a rosey pink, which can be built up. It’s very, very natural looking. I’m a very fair person so I use two applications to make it more visible, and even then, it’s a light flush. I like it better than other liquid blushes I’ve tried.This mascara is… interesting and probably not for the faint of heart. It’s thick, yet also seems to dry rather quickly, so your working time is short. If you aren’t careful, go too slow, or apply too many layers, you end up with long, clumpy spider legs. It almost reminds me of a tubing mascara, but with insanely quick dry time. It works beautifully, but you have to use it just right (or maybe my lashes are too thick). This was the only product that I think could have been better.I really like the Prep, Set, Glow Spray! While I haven’t used it to prep my face (since the primer already adds so much shine) I do like it as a finishing spray. It adds just a hint of shimmer. It really helps if I’ve gone overboard with powder; it makes my face look natural and not cakey, because the last thing I want to do is start over again! I like to spray it on my decolettage for a little youthful glow too.Overall, I’m pleased with these, and I’m super excited to gift my sister in law this larger set.I think these would be amazing sets for people who have combination or dry skin. Since I already have “glowy” skin most of the time, I don’t feel like my skin really benefited as much as someone with less oil would, but I do like how this makeup makes me look, and I’ll definitely keep using it.

   Overpriced and cheap looking
   This gift set is comprised of cheap, low quality makeup. Even the mirror wasn’t real glass but some kind of reflective plastic! Not close to being worth the price.

   Nice variety, some hits and misses
   This is a review for Iconic London The Glowy Icon Make Up Gift Set. This is a nice kit that lets you try a variety of Iconic London’s products. The blurring primer is not blurring for me, but it does make a nice base for foundation. It has very fine shimmer that you don’t notice on the skin, and once you apply foundation, that’s completely covered up. It feels slightly greasy but I didn’t notice any additional shine coming through my foundation throughout the day.The eyeshadow quad is nice. The mattes blend easily and have medium pigmentation. The shimmers are also pretty and don’t emphasize texture on the lids; you can apply them with a dry brush or a wet brush for a more intense look. I like the eyeshadows overall, but I do wish that it had one deeper matte color as I do find the need to go into another palette to grab a darker matte. The two mattes are medium depth, making them nice as a crease color.The mascara is a thin wand with a rubber bristle brush. It builds quickly and provides good length and volume. It doesn’t give fluffy lashes, which is what I like in a mascara. I notice I’ll get these balls of product at the end of a couple of my lashes. They’re easy to remove with a lash comb, but it’s not my ideal mascara. I do like it for the bottom lashes. Because it builds so quickly and it’s a thinner wand, I think it’s perfect for that.The illuminator comes in a tiny dropper bottle but you only need to use the smallest amount so it will last for a while. It’s really pretty. It gives a glowy look to the cheeks without obvious glitter particles. I’ll place this in targeted areas either under or over foundation, depending on how glowy I want to look.The prep set glow setting spray is the one product that I can’t stand in this set, which is a shame because it’s the largest bottle in this kit. The sprayer is aggressive, and the floral scent lingers on the skin. I can smell it for at least an hour after I’ve sprayed. Additionally, it covers your face in very obvious glitter particles. I’m not someone that wants to sparkle all over my face, so this is not for me.The lip gloss is really nice. It’s a thinner formula with medium pigmentation and a light minty feel. It’s not too thick but not too thin and smooths over the lips making them look juicy. The color in this kit is a light camel, which gives me concealer lips. I’m not a fan of the color, but I love the gloss formula, so I would be interested in trying this gloss in a different color.Overall, as I mentioned, I think this is a nice kit with a lot of variety so you can try and see what you like and don’t like. There are some hits and misses for me.

   Elegant and Excellent
   I love everything about this makeup. The primer and tint (I ordered the tint separately) are SO SMOOTH! The coverage is excellent and it feels light and fresh. The mascara is thick, only one coat needed, if you even tried to do more than one it would make a mess. Lipgloss is thick, has a little tingle to it and lasts for quite a while. Eye shadow is very pigmented and glides on gorgeously true to color. Packaging is elegant in a big, sturdy gold box that you can keep to store items or more makeup in. A nice, fairly large coffee cup was included that I hadn’t noticed in the pics so it was a cool little surprise.I will continue to order this makeup and replace the items when I run out. Totally worth it.
