On land, on sea, in clouds, and even in space, battles are breaking out between toys. Your troops need your tactical talent to lead them to victory. Your mission? Be the first to reach the enemy headquarters or control more territories than your opponent. On your turn in Toy Battle, you either draw two toy troops or place a troop on the board and apply its effect. When a place a troop, you can place it on an empty base, a base that you control, a base that the enemy controls with a lower-valued troop than the one you’re placing, or the enemy’s headquarters; however, in all cases you must place on a location that has a continuous path to your own headquarters through bases that you occupy, that is, that have your troop on top. If you occupy bases that form a continuous path around a region, you claim the medals within this region. (You don’t lose these medals if the enemy later occupies one of these bases.) The game ends as soon as you occupy your opponent’s headquarters or win the required number of medals based on the current game board. If a player cannot draw or place a troop, the game ends, and whoever has the most medals wins.

A Wonderful Game!
A fantastic and delightful game. The rules can be explained in about 5 minutes yet there is nice depth to the gameplay. The design is genius in its simplicity, strategy and flow. Setup takes less than a minute and games wrap up in 10-15 minutes. There is also good variety with the 8 maps included. Overall my family enjoys playing it, highly recommend!

Toy Battle is a fantastic 2 player game. It’s quick, easy to learn, and a tone of fun, and it is surprisingly strategic. It has a ton of replicability considering it include 8 maps to play.

Quality product. Good board game.
Generally high quality materials for the most part. Having cardboard boxes for each faction is a nice touch. The game in general looks beautiful, even the exterior and interior of the box. Missing a place for the victory point tokens, I place them in a small bag inside one of the cardboard boxes. The size of the units is a bit smaller than expected but still large enough to be comfortable.The game itself is very fun to play, very easy to learn with a minor level of strategy combined with variance from randomness. Having so many boards to choose from is great. It can be a bit hard to shuffle the unit tokens.Overall very satisfied.

This game was suggested on a Reddit board game thread and after much debating I ordered as our yearly new Christmas game present. And I am so glad I did!!!!!! It is so much fun! I would compare this to chess (maybe?) or stratego I think. Very fun for all ages. It says 8+ on the box but my 6yo has learned the game and has beat everyone in the family. I love the toy aspect to keep littles entertained but the strategy aspect to make it difficult so that I want to battle (AND DESTROY) my husband. Everything is sturdy and cardboard is thick so it feels like a quality product. Having multiple boards to play on ensures that you won’t out play this. It’s hard to find actual 2p games (we are forever modifying games to fit just 2p) so this is a fun one I’d recommend to all game fanatics!

Beautiful game, amazing value
This really is a special game. My 11 year old daughter thrives on the strategy and loves to find all the sneaky combo chains you never see coming, while my 8 year old nephew Ioves the simple “War card game” mechanic of highest number wins. Easy to teach and rewards creative/adaptive play styles.

Wir sind absolut begeistert von Toy Battle! Das Spiel ist super kurzweilig – die Runden dauern im Schnitt nur etwa 15 Minuten, sodass man „mal eben“ eine Partie spielen kann… oder eben auch zehn hintereinander. 😄Die Regeln sind angenehm einfach, sodass man wirklich sofort loslegen kann – ideal auch für Wenigspieler oder zum Einstieg. Trotzdem bleibt das Spiel spannend und abwechslungsreich. Es entsteht schnell eine lustige Dynamik am Tisch, und der Spaßfaktor ist einfach hoch.Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Qualität: Die Spielfelder und Karten sind sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, und ein echtes Highlight sind die kleinen Kartenständer aus Holz – ein schönes, liebevolles Detail, das das Spiel noch besonderer macht.Wir haben schon etliche Runden gespielt und hatten durchweg eine richtig gute Zeit. Toy Battle ist eines dieser Spiele, das man immer wieder gern auf den Tisch bringt. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein leicht zugängliches, charmantes und witziges Spiel suchen!
