   Improves Hair Hold and Shine
   I wanted a product that would help my hair look healthier, smoother, and easier to style over time without adding extra steps or making it feel heavy. This oil has lived up to those expectations very well after regular use. I put a little bit on my hair after I wash it and occasionally when I’m styling it or trying to tame flyaways. It spreads evenly and doesn’t take much work to do so, which makes it easy to use even on busy mornings. I appreciate that I do not need to estimate the appropriate amount to use or be concerned about overusing it. The most significant change in the first week was how my hair felt all day. My hair looked smoother and was easier to style, especially at the ends, which usually require dry first. Managing my hair was more convenient during extended workdays, as it required fewer touch-ups and restyling. I kept using it for the second and third weeks, and I started to see a slow but steady improvement. Even on days when I didn’t style my hair much, it looked shinier and reflected more natural light. I also noticed that this oil did an impressive job of keeping frizz at bay. It kept my hair smooth and even on days when it usually looks uneven or frizzy. As a buyer, I thought this hair oil lived up to my expectations: it made my hair softer, shinier, and easier to style every day without making it heavy.    Quite oily, but the plant-like scent is great.
   As someone who is getting older, I’ve noticed that my hair has thinned and it’s more prone to breakage and shedding. I try to use hair serums and oils that could help strengthen my hair, which is why I ordered this product.MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT1. The bottle comes with 60 mL of hair oil blend, which I think is a good size for a hair oil.2. The texture is that of oil. It’s definitely oilier than some of my hair serums.3. This oil is not fragrance-free, but I’m actually liking it a whole lot. It’s not flowery or perfume-ish, but more plant-like instead. I find it to be a grounding, relaxing scent.4. I don’t really like the feeling of oil on my hair and scalp even though I like it on my skin. I tend to use this hair oil once a day, right after I shower while my hair is damp just so that it doesn’t feel oily to me.5. I just usually let it dry naturally and my hair looks nice after. It doesn’t appear as dry so it gives the appearance of being healthier.6. The earthy botanical scent lingers for a little bit, although I wish the scent lasts longer.7. I’ve tried this with a hair dryer and it does make my hair look a little bit shinier.8. I have color-treated hair and I haven’t noticed any issues.9. I think that this should be used daily. I feel that it’s too much for twice a day because of the texture.OVERALL IMPRESSION: While I tend to stay away from hair oil and serums that are quite oily, this one actually works well for me because of the scent. I have a higher tolerance of its oiliness. I think that it’s cost-effective and worth its value because the scent makes me use it regularly.

   I have bleached and dyed hair that is naturally frizzy (and, as I’ve only recently discovered, apparently lightly wavy), so I’m always keen on products that can tame flyaways and make my mane look a little sleeker. I love that this hair oil uses botanical extracts and a fully vegan-free formula so I can feel good about using it.The “oil” itself is a little thicker and more viscous than a standard oil, which I actually find much better for spreading evenly by rubbing between my hands and then running my fingers through my hair: if it’s too thin and runny, I tend to get a lot of oil in one place and look greasy there. This feels very light and unctuous. It is not sticky at all, and I disagree with the reviewer who found it so thick that it’s hard to work with. This is still very oily! It is pretty easy to distribute through your hair.Unfortunately, as someone with very fine hair, oils like this don’t work quite as well for me. I have to use them VERY sparingly or my strands separate and look greasy; while a light layer does give a little smoothing effect and maybe a little shine, I can’t really use enough to get the full moisturizing and strengthening effect without looking like I’ve never touched a shampoo bottle in my life. It’s a catch 22! Folks with more porous or thick hair may have better luck making best use of this product.Still, I do like that it helps to minimize frizz and it smells nice in the process: sort of a verdant, floral, earthy scent that I’d consider perfectly gender-neutral. It is noticeable without being overpowering. It also feels good on my hands as I’m applying it, and it does give my hair a little luster. I just have to be careful to use very, very little.

   good hair oil, no strong scent
   This is a pretty good hair oil! It is vegan as the listing claims, I did not see any animal derived ingredients listed on the box. I use this on wet hair right out of the shower, and it does a good job of keeping the frizz away. Also didn’t make my hair feel weird after drying either. It isn’t too greasy, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin as I put it on my hair. It doesn’t have much of a scent, just a slight leafy/plant like smell that doesn’t linger long. $18 for a 2oz bottle of hair oil may seem like a lot at first, but this seemingly small sized container will actually last you a while. It’s a good quality product, you don’t need to use a lot unless you have really long hair!
